Specialized sports educational institutions prepare future specialists in the field of physical education. Students of Professional Sports Colleges obtain a Professional Pre-Higher Education, combining their studies with the educational and training process in the chosen sport. Young gifted athletes have long- term experience in physical education and an increased level of physical activity. The Aim of the Study is to determine the level of physical health of Professional Specialized Sports Pre-Higher Education students. Research Methods and Organization. The participants of the study were Professional Specialized Sports Pre-Higher Education students, a total of 22 male individuals. The average age of the representatives is 17,86 ± 0,12 years. Experience in sports activities (sports games) more than 5 years. Level of sportsmanship: from II sports category to Candidate for Master of Sports of Ukraine. Anthropometric (weight and body length) and biomedical (heart rate, vital capacity, blood pressure) indicators were studied. To assess the level of physical health of students, the method of express assessment of the level of physical health by H. L. Apanasenko was used. The weight-height, vital, strength indices and the Robinson index were determined. Research Results. The anthropometric and biomedical indicators obtained during the experiment are comparable to current data available in the scientific literature regarding male representatives of the corresponding age. The results of the study showed that the physical health of the participants in the experiment was assessed at 14 points, which corresponds to the level of physical health “above average”. Conclusion. The level of physical health of Professional Specialized Sports Pre-Higher Education students corresponds to the assessment of “above average”. Increased physical activity and sports specialization have a positive effect on the level of physical health.
