Indices of Biogeometric Profile of Posture and Life Quality of Children with a Functional Single Ventricle of a Heart

Construction ofphysical rehabilitation programsrequiredeeper study ofhealth of childrenwith congenital heart disease. We have studied theindicesof biogeometrical profile of posture in frontaland sagittal planes and life quality of 35 children with afunctionalsingleventricle 33 (94,3 %) and 34 (97,1 %) childrenhave abnormalitiesof posturein frontal andsagittalplanes, respectively. Indices of life qualityhave been reducedbythe results ofthe children’sand parents’questioning. More expressedviolationsof quality of lifewere noted ina scale ofphysical functioning. There was nostatistically significant differencebetween the results obtainedfrom the children’ sand parents’ questionnaires, on all scalesof quality of life.
