Peculiaries of Content of Training Specialists in Physical Education and Sports for Working with Disabled People.

Actuality. Taking into account the contemporary tendencies in the development of science and practice, university graduates should possess a set of new qualities in their scientific, educational and practical activities, which depend on acquiring system, complex knowledge and skills; the ability to use them in their profession, organizing various social relations with disabled people. Aim of the research; 1) to analyze the content of training specialists in physical education and sports for working with disabled people in Ukrainian higher education institutions and abroad; 2) to identify the ways of implementing the educational subject «Adaptive Sports» in the professional preparation of students of National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine; 3) to find out the main areas for further improvement of the subject «Adaptive Sports» in training university students of sports profile. Methods: analysis and generalization of literature, information resources of the Internet; software and regulations; comparative method; abstraction, logical-theoretical analysis, content analysis. Results of the research. Educational sports institutions try to take into consideration the current trends ensure the improvement and increase in knowledge in the field of sports, recreation and sports activities for people with disabilities; it provides the practical implemen-tation of the knowledge and suggests preparation of new formation graduates. Conclusions. The prepararion of students for working with disabled people is conducted in different higher education institutions of Ukraine but today the speciality in adaptive physical culture and sports is not legally approved, in spite of the fact, that the demand for such specialists is high. The main ways of improving the discipline «Adaptive sports» are the following: staffing, international cooperation, scientific and infor-mation support, the formation of humanistic oriented professionals.References
