Abstract

Oleksandr Shevchuk. Peculiarities of the Physical Education Teachers` Training of Primary-School Children in the Educational Process of the New Ukrainian School. Topicality. The professional mission of the New Ukrainian School PE teacher is readiness for changes in the educational process, in particular fast respond to the educational changes and the students` needs, to identify new ideas, creative initiatives and challenges of time. The Purpose of the Research is to identify and substantiate the PE teachers` training at the primary school of the New Ukrainian School. Methods of the Research: theoretical analysis and synthesis of scientific and methodological literature and information resources of the Internet have benn used over the study. Results of the Research. Now, in accordance with the main directions of state educational policy, there is a need to develop new approaches to the PE classes. The purpose of the PE teachers` training at the primary school and the tasks for its achievement have been determined. The PE teacher professional mission of the New Ukrainian School has been projected. Modern methods of teaching and upbringing of primary-school children aimed at positive motivation for physical activity, interest in physical exercises and active recreation have been presented. It is emphasized that the innovative ideas and forward pedagogical experience of teacher trainers, their rethinking, will facilitate the PE teachers in making choice of innovative methods for successful PE training of school children. Conclusions. PE teacher significance at the New Ukrainian School has revealed as well as the PE training peculiarities of the primary school-children have been highlighted.
